They're called Shinra Electric Power Company, but the name doesn't really say much. They're a corporation who takes up all the life blood of the Planet, killing it.

[And while she doesn't agree with Avalanche's more extreme methods, she joined their fight for a different reason. Something a little more selfish than fighting for the Planet, but she won't get into that. Not here.
