Nah, he was fine. Escorted me down to give those ladybugs some flowers, answered my questions even if it was like pulling teeth. You know how those grumpy guys can be.

I was half expecting a ‘not interested’ at one point, so I agree on him giving off Cloud vibes. He said you guys met after his dog found a phone, right? Did he just hold it out and glare until you took it or did he introduce himself?

Actually, despite what he might've made you believe, he went off to help me find the person the phone belonged to after that.

That tracks with him being in that ‘stoic but helpful’ category like some people we know.

By the way, I’ve managed to get some flowers to grow that can be used in drinks! I set up a special spot for them in my garden area and they look good. We should set up a time to experiment with them soon.

I tried to keep it simple, I got some lavender and hibiscus growing. I was surprised by the lavender honestly since it sorta reminds me of laundry soap we used at home. But the barista swore by it!

Oh, lavender! It was always hard to come by in Midgar, and really expensive so I never used it, but I've definitely had some here in drinks. Though, more tea and less alcohol...

If only we met earlier I could've gotten you that lavender contraband! Right from my front porch, I had a few planters with it.

It'll be interesting to see what can be done with it, she was very sure it works in all kinds of drinks.

Could've made a killing with those flower drinks in Midgar, are you kidding me!?

But I'm sure it would. How does lavender and mint sound to you?

Sounds refreshing! I like it. We definitely need to do a little experimenting soon. The barista gave me some instructions on how to create a syrup with the flowers, but I bet you'll know just how to do it.

You know, I have used syrups before, but I've never tried to make my own. That might actually be a fun experiment, so you'll have to join me in the kitchens when I do.
