WELCOME

The Starflower Sanctuary and Café is a small eatery/bar located in the quieter, northwestern part of Reverein's plaza run by Tifa Lockhart and Eustace. Along with it being a combination bar and café, it also serves as a sanctuary for stray cats, dogs, and other small animals that are in need of a home.

The rustic café itself boasts a wide open space on the main floor with plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate a party of any size, all of them surrounding the large wooden, hand-crafted tree at its center with perching places for cats and birds alike. In the back corner opposite the bar, there is a hearth that is always lit with a warm, welcoming fire with comfortable seating. The walls and ceilings feature vines of glowing and shimmering blue starflowers that stretch across them, a flower unique to Eustace and Tifa, and giving the place its name.

There is an upper terrace on the second floor with smaller, more intimate tables, as well as the small terrarium and pond for any frogs or turtles that they may have.

Outside is the patio and the garden and pond for the fish, as well as an open green space for the animals to frolic and play.

So, grab some food, a drink, or a toy! Sit back, relax, and enjoy your time at the Starflower Café and Sanctuary!

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday-Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Closed Sundays.

The menu features a wide selection of comfort foods as well as drinks and desserts for any mood!

For breakfasts, there are sweet pancakes and waffles, or if you're in the mood for something more savoury, there are breakfast burgers, bagels, and several breakfast bowls to choose from. And they all go spectacularly with any choice of coffee or teas to start the day!

Lunches feature a variety of sandwiches, daily soups, as well as grilled cheese and salads. Simple, yet wholesome.

If you're here for dinner, expect a menu of steaks, burgers, more salads, stews, stir fries, and curry.

Great news! Breakfast and lunch are served ALL DAY.

STAFF

Who are all those cute little corgis running around eager to help, and looking for belly rubs and treats while they're at it? Meet the adorable staff of the Starflower café, the corgis!

LYRIA

Lyria assists mostly with front of house, such as greeting, taking down and delivering orders, but she is also very skilled in the kitchen, helping Tifa with the cooking when she can. She also works with Eustace in taking care of the animals, making sure that they get all of the love, attention, and care that they need and deserve! If you have any questions about any of the animals here, Lyria and Eustace probably have the answer!

CORGIS

The well-known family of corgis! You will be able to spot them by the matching bandanas around their necks, and on most days, there will be at least three or four of the seven helping out. They assist Tifa with delivering orders to their tables, but they are mostly here to ask for treats, pets, and affection from customers, and giving anyone cuddles should they wish for them! If you have a treat, they might have a trick in return! You can find more information about the corgis here!

SPRINKLES

Sprinkles is the fairy cat that you may see dozing off at the bar next to Tifa. You see those sprinkles that are on those cupcakes? Those are thanks to Sprinkles, who can shower anything in them. Don't worry, they are completely edible and clean! She tends to ere on the shy, cautious side, but if you are a regular, you may find her opening up to you sooner! Sprinkles is not up for adoption.

MIRABELLE

Mirabelle is the plum flower fairy that lives at the café. How do those flowers flourish outside? That is all thanks to her magic, as she is able to make flowers bloom in any season. The fairy cats that are available for adoption are born from said flowers that she creates, and depending on the flower, they are born with different features. She has a bit of an ego, but she means well, and cares a great deal about the animals, so you may find her flitting about, helping Eustace and Lyria taking care of them when she isn't out gathering floral supplies for Tifa.

ADOPTABLES

Peony Sparrows (2)

As they are a "couple" they cannot be separated and come in a set. Together, they sing songs to fit the mood.

Food Preferences: Sweet fruit, fresh seeds
Other: They should be free to fly around and not have their wings clipped. Once they have learned where their home is, they will always return to it.

Tiny Bunnies (6)

They like to burrow into the stems of trees and live there, and are small enough to do so (about the size of someone's thumb nail). They are very curious and hungry, and like to steal food when no one is looking.

Food Preferences: Plants, fruits, vegetables
Other: An enclosed potted plant provided. They do not need a lot of space; a small sized, enclosed hutch will suffice as long as it has enough greenery; potted plants will do well. If they manage to escape, leave out a potted plant with food and they will go to it.

Turtles (2)

There is a raspberry turtle and a blueberry turtle, and once ripe, the berries can be picked from their shells, washed, and eaten without harm. Take good care of it, and their berries will taste sweeter!

Food Preferences: Plants, fruits, vegetables
Other: Small tank provided. Can be adopted separately or together. As tortioses, they'll need a decent sized terrarium or safe outdoor enclosure with plenty of cover, access to sunlight or a heat lamp, and some water. They are small and already adults.

Autumn Fairy Dogs (2)

Each dog has unique colored leaves that will change to autumn colors. Playful, energetic, just be careful when they shed!

Difficulty of Care: 🐾🐾🐾
Food Preferences: Fruits, flowers, small amounts of dried meat
Other: Collar and leash provided. Dogs can be adopted separately or together; they are not related to each other. While they would make good house pets, they do require a fair amount of exercise. Their leaves naturally grow in their coats and will fall off, but some grooming is still required.

Fairy Cat (Pearl)

Pearl is a bit of a diva, always looking for attention and the comfiest laps and cushions to take her afternoon nap on. She loves being brushed and pampered. When she's feeling playful, her paws will play a harp note each time they touch the ground, creating a pleasant melody that will put any listener into a good mood.

Food Preferences: Cat food, but she's a big fan of tuna.
Other: Collar and bell provided. Her favourite cushion and brush will be provided upon adoption, as well as her favourite fish toy.

Fairy Cat (Sapphire)

Sapphire is a bit shy, but otherwise friendly once she warms up to you. She likes to people watch from higher or darker places. When she purrs at night, she has the ability to create the illusion of a beautiful starry sky around her.

Food Preferences: Cat food. She has a sensitive stomach so nothing too harsh.
Other: Collar and bell provided.
