So, she simply drags herself through the snow back home, and by the time she returns, she can feel the cold steeping into her bones, soaking through her shoes that the warmth of the house feels almost unnatural, but not in the unwelcome sense.
Probably for the best that she didn't stop at the store to grab a bottle of wine like she had originally thought of doing, instead opting for a cup of cocoa when she returned—she's glad she did. And as soon as she greets Aerith and wanders into the living room, she makes the fire roar that much bigger so that she can warm herself up.]
I'm going to make a cup of hot chocolate before we dig in. You want some?
